Are you on a promise of sale agreement or in the process to do one?



The Notary most of the time asks the Purchaser/s for the following documents before the deed of transfer:-


  1. Sanction letter as authorised by the chosen Bank (if any);

  2. Approved Scheme Document by the Housing Authority (if any)

  3. Original Land Registry Site Plan marked and signed by an architect;

  4. Schedule 8 marked and signed by an architect;

  5. Documents which show the source of funds that will be used for that specific transaction;


Amongst these there might be cases were the Notary needs more documentation for the file in question so it is recommended that one seeks the advice of the chosen Notary before proceeding.
